The winning numbers for the Powerball lottery drawing are 5, 23, 16, 22, 29 and the Powerball number is 6.

The jackpot Wednesday night reached a record $550 million. There have been no jackpot winners since Oct. 6.

According to the Powerball website, the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 175 million.

But—because there are multiple ways to win prizes in Powerball—your chances of winning some amount of money are actually pretty good: About 1 in 32.
