Fort Pitt Bridge Cleaning Means Lane Restrictions

The Fort Pitt Bridge will be reduced to single lanes in each direction for cleaning beginning this evening.

Single lane closures will occur as needed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. weeknights through July 1, according to PennDOT. Only one direction will be restricted at a time.

Crews from Thornbury Inc. of Sunbury will be doing the cleaning. Outbound restrictions will be coordinated to minimize impacts on traffic leaving downtown events.
