Leetsdale Plans Upcoming Meet the Candidates Forums
Candidates seeking office and the public are invited to the meet-and-greet sessions.
Leetsdale Borough plans to host several "Meet and Greet" sessions with local legislators and candidates for various offices.
The first session at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4 is open to all candidates seeking election for any seat that serves the borough, including council, mayor, school board and tax collector.
Candidates are invited to meet and address the public if they desire. The public is also welcome to attend to hear the candidates' platforms and ask questions. Leetsdale Mayor Pete Poninsky, who is up for re-election, will not be in attendance because he will be representing the borough at the Allegheny League of Municipalities Spring Conference in Seven Springs.
