PennDOT: Route 65 Work Begins Friday in Leetsdale

Improvements include reconstructing northbound Route 65, or Ohio River Boulevard, in Leetsdale.

PennDOT plans to begin work to reconstruct northbound Route 65 (Ohio River Boulevard) in Leetsdale starting on Friday, Nov. 30.

PennDOT Spokesman Jim Struzzi said crews will perform full-depth concrete reconstruction in the area of the Cross Street intersection, near the Ambridge border.

This will mean lane restrictions for travelers. Northbound Route 65 will be restricted to a single lane beginning at 7 a.m. on Friday around-the-clock through late December to allow the work to occur, Struzzi said.
