Primary Election 2013: What You Need to Know

Planning to vote today? Sewickley Patch has information to help you cast your vote.

Today is Primary Election Day. Your vote will help determine who advances to the General Election in the fall.

Here are some quick things you need to know:

  • Not sure where to vote? Click here to search for your polling place. You can also view a sample ballot for the Republican and Democratic tickets.
  • Not sure when to vote? The polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. Voters must be registered with a political party to vote in the primary. 
  • Remember the Voter ID Law? Those voting in person on May 21 will be asked, but will not be required, to show an approved photo ID.
  • County offices are closed today.
