"I am running for school board because I feel that the board deserves a candidate that can make decisions in the best interest of the Quaker Valley School District, as well as the taxpayers of this district.

As a mother and teacher, I am interested in the needs of all students. Our children are a diverse group—all with their own special needs. Our parents and teachers are also a diverse group—each with different gifts and abilities.

As a group, we need to work together for the good of all our students. This includes students who are struggling, and students who are excelling. Our teachers need our support in implementing methods that best meet the needs of the students.

Finally, I believe that responsible spending is a necessity to keep school taxes under control. I realize that many who reside in this school district are struggling to keep up with the school taxes. Let’s turn our focus on the important task of educating our children.

I am asking for your vote on May 21, at the primary election for school board. I am running on both the Democratic and Republican ballots. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me."
