Rothfus Congratulates New American Citizens at Naturalization Ceremony

The ceremony was held Friday at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum in Pittsburgh.

Congressman Keith Rothfus, R-Sewickley, attended a naturalization ceremony Friday at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum in Pittsburgh.

Rothfus presented more than 60 newly-sworn-in citizens from 34 countries with copies of the United States Constitution.

“I appreciated the opportunity to join my friend Juan Mata and over 60 other men and women as they recited the Oath of Allegiance,” said Rothfus said in a statement after attending.

“It was an honor and privilege to welcome these newest citizens of our great nation.  Today’s ceremony reminded us why so many dream of coming to America: the opportunity to develop one’s God-given talents and to live and thrive in freedom, peace, and prosperity,” he said.
