Q:  Do you have any suggestions for managing/organizing emails?
A: Email messages can be handled with the same principles I suggest for paper mail.  Here are a few thoughts:
1.) Constantly checking your email will interrupt your work flow.  I suggest setting up a designated time to address your inbox.
2.) Deal with each email as you open it.  This can be a quick response, file into a folder or send to the trash.  
3.) Productivity is key here so if you cannot reply with a brief answer consider making a phone call.
4.) Keep your inbox down to a minimum of 10-20 messages by creating labeled folders to store emails of importance.  As with paper, keep only what you need and purge every so often.
5.) Unsubscribe from offers and junk mail messages to keep your inbox uncluttered.
