Rob Veltre, a QV sophomore, organized a 5K race to help wounded troops coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan.
The Boulder Crest Retreat for Wounded Warriors in Bluemont, VA delivers therapeutic outpatient care to soldiers with physical and psychological wounds. The retreat will offer soldiers and their families a place to rest and heal in a rural sanctuary.
The cost is $25 for the 5K or $15 for the 1-mile walk.
