One-Day Portrait Photography Workshop

Come to Sweetwater on for this one-day Portrait workshop! The secret to taking great “people pictures” is to observe your subjects, connect with them, and use your camera to
its best advantage. This workshop will help to guide you through improving your portraits, upgrading them from snapshots to something much, much more. The class will discuss a number of very simple techniques in composition, camera placement, and both natural and artificial light to make your portraits improve significantly. The class will begin with lecture and will move to hands-on demonstration after the lunch break. There will be a break for lunch, so bring a bagged lunch or take a break in town. There are no prerequisites for this class, but a basic rudimentary understanding of photography is assumed. Students should bring a digital camera with them to class.
