Pies and Tarts
Nothing relieves the winter blues like the smell of a warm, fresh-baked pie wafting through the house. Come beat the chill and brush up on your baking skills! Master a flaky homemade crust, learn to put your own twist on fruit and other fillings, and pick up a few new tricks for topping your pie. The course will cover all-American pies, French-style tarts, and bite-size hors d’oeuvres. Bring your own rolling pin and pie or tart pan to practice and take home your own pie crust. This event is BYOB. Call to register. This class is only for studentswho are 21 and older. Due to the nature of culinary arts classes, Sweetwater is unable to accommodate food allergies/dietary restrictions.
