The Irish Famine in History & Memory

The Woman's Club of Sewickley Valley will present "The Irish Famine in History & Memory with speaker Chuck Lanigan.  Mr. Lanigan will discuss  the most traumatic event in Irish history between 1845-1850 killing one million people and sending refugees fleeing the Canada, United States and New Zealand.

Meetings begin promptly at 1:30p.m. at the Edgeworth Club with an optional lunch served at 12:15pm.  For lunch reservations call the Club at 412-741-8500.  For membership info call 412-741-4660.
