Final Parent Workshop Set for Tonight

The Quaker Valley program provides support for parents in developing habits of excellence at home.

Quaker Valley School District will host its third and final parent workshop for “Promoting Excellence at Home” tonight, March 7 at Osborne Elementary School.

The free program takes place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and includes dinner and childcare. 

The program is designed to assist parents in understanding success behaviors and is co-facilitated by Dr. Don Sheffield, author and educator, and Terry Bradford, community liaison.

Parents will learn to maximize parent-child interaction to ensure proper academic and personal development and growth. The program will also provide strategies for improving academic work and support for parents in developing habits of excellence at home.
