Local Students Make Dean's Lists, Earn Diplomas

Celeste Polakovic of Sewickley, a music education instrumental major at Youngstown State University has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must carry a semester grade point average of 3.4 or better and take a minimum of 12 semester hours of credit.

Sara E. Vettorel, of Sewickley, a junior at Millersville University of Pennsylvania, has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester. The 1,565 students named to Millersville University's Dean's List earned a semester grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher and attempted at least 12 credits of course work.

Jordan Brudenell of Sewickley, and Samantha Veights of Sewickley, were both named to the Dean's List at Clarion University of Pennsylvania for the fall 2011 semester. Students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 for placement on the dean's list.

Justin Robb of Sewickley, was among 25 students who earned diplomas at Marietta College's December Convocation on Sunday, Dec. 11 on Fenton Court. Robb completed requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Political Science. Marietta College is located in Marietta, OH.
