I have a question - why did the coach and AD step the girls soccer team down to AA when they were AAA all along. Was it because they an abysimal playoff record against AAA schools? That aside I'm glad Moon girls finally won a championship.

@Louisa, If you take a moment to look at the WPIAL web site, you will see that AAA is the equivalent of AAAA. Moon Girls Soccer plays in the AA along with West A, Montour, Hopewell, Central Valley, Blackhawk, etc. Basically we are playing teams from schools the same size as Moon.

Louisa, congratulations on once again trying to put a negative spin on a positive thing. The coach and AD had nothing to do with the girls going to AA. The state determines that by the number of girls in your school. It can change every 2 years. The girls are competing at the AA level because they are AA. However, even at the AAA level, the girls have competed in 2 state championship games. I would say that is very successful.
