NYT: Joe Paterno On the Way Out

The coach's legendary career at Penn State University could be coming to an end in the midst of the Jerry Sandusky scandal.

The New York Times is reporting that Penn State football coach Joe Paterno is leaving "within days or weeks" after a sex scandal involving former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky has rocked the campus and the nation.

Sandusky is charged with 

Penn State's board of trustees is said to be planning Paterno's exit. The legendary coach reported one incident to PSU officials. No one in the administration reported any known incidents to the police.
