Quaker Valley Falls to Rebels with a Cause

Seton LaSalle's Hart and Brumbaugh show leads Rebels to one-sided victory over Quakers.

It was a rough night for as they played the visiting Seton-LaSalle Rebels at Chuck Knox Stadium. 

The Rebels were a model of execution both offensively and defensively. Kevin Hart, whose father was a standout at Mount Lebanon, was the target of many well aimed Brumbaugh salvos.  

S-L quarterback Luke Brumbaugh and receiver Kevin Hart worked their magic on Quaker Valley relentlessly the entire first half.

Quaker Valley was plagued by three and outs as they came up against a powerful La-Salle defense. 

The Quaker desperately to contain Hart.  Nonetheless when the first half came to a close, Hart had already scored all of the games five touchdowns.

By the end of the first quarter, the black and gold were down 28-0.  The Rebels would score one more touchdown before the end of the half to make it 35-0.

QV held off any further scoring in the game in the last two quarters, but their offense could not penetrate the wall-like the L-S defense. The game ended with a scoreless second half.

Final score:  35-0
