Quaker Valley High School Presents 'Anything Goes'

Since its debut in 1934, Anything Goes has proven to be one of the most enduring musical comedies of all time.

Quaker Valley High School will present the classic musical from Thursday, April 11 to Saturday, April 13, and it's not too late to buy tickets.

Tickets will be sold today in the high school gym lobby from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and on Wednesday and Thursday at the same time and place. You can  download the ticket order form online.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens, with all seats reserved.

Orders will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If available, tickets will be sold at the door beginning at 6 p.m. prior to the show.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 11 through Saturday, April 13. A 2 p.m. matinee is also scheduled for Saturday. All performances will take place in the high school auditorium, 625 Beaver St. in Leetsdale.

“Anything Goes” is a high sea, high-energy tale of love, laughter and mistaken identity.  When the S.S. American heads out to sea, etiquette and convention head out the portholes as two unlikely pairs set off on the course to true love -- proving that sometimes destiny needs a little help from a crew of singing sailors, an exotic disguise and some good old-fashioned blackmail.

The show features a host of hilarious characters as well as some of Cole Porter's most memorable and endearing songs, including “It’s Delovely,” “Friendship,” “Blow Gabriel Blow” and, of course “Anything Goes.”
