Quaker Valley Ice Hockey: Quakers Advance to Penguins Cup Finals

The championship game is Wednesday at Consol Energy Center.

For the second year in a row, the Quaker Valley Varsity Hockey Team will take on the Mars Planets in the Class A Penguins Cup Finals at the Consol Energy Center.

The puck drops at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20.

The Quakers earned their berth in the finals by defeating Kittaning 5-2. You can find a recap of the game, reported by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League, by clicking here.

Mars defeated Greensburg Central 13-1 to advance to the finals.

Tickets to the game are $7 for students and $12 for adults and can only be purchased at the door.
