Quaker Valley Makes Top 10 (Again) in Region’s School Rankings

The district landed in the top rankings by the Pittsburgh Business Times.

Quaker Valley ranked 8th out of 105 districts in the region and in Western Pennsylvania, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times.

The region’s top five districts were unchanged from last year. Upper St. Clair was again ranked no. 1 in the area while Mt. Lebanon and North Allegheny retained the no. 2 and no. 3 spots. Quaker Valley was also unchanged in the eighth spot on the list.

Across the state, QV ranked 27th this year, a drop from 24th last year.

The newspaper develops the rankings based on three years of PSSA test scores in math, reading and science.
