QV Athletes Can Schedule ImPACT Tests

There is no charge to families for this required test.

Quaker Valley High School is currently scheduling ImPACT tests for student athletes in grades 9 through 12 who will be participating in the following fall sports: football, soccer, girls’ volleyball and cheerleading.  There is no charge to Quaker Valley families for this required test.

ImPACT provides computerized neurocognitive assessment tools and services that are used by medical doctors, psychologists, athletic trainers, and other licensed healthcare professionals to assist them in determining an athlete's ability to return to play after suffering a concussion.

A current baseline test must be on file prior to participating in participating in fall sports. Because the ImPACT test is required every two years, students who took the test last school year are not required to take it again this year.
