QV Kicks Off Strategic Planning Tonight

The event at 7 p.m. includes a panel discussion and overview of district goals.

The community is invited tonight to for a two-hour special presentation and panel discussion to kickoff the district's upcoming strategic plan.

The evening begins at  7 p.m. with a presentation from Superintendent Joseph Clapper on the state of public education and the particular challenges facing QV.

A panel discussion and overview of district goals will follow with time for questions from the audience.

Special guests from various fields of expertise will serve on the panel to offer their perspectives on education. The panelists include Bill Flanagan from the Allegheny Conference; Steven E. Sokol, World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh’s president and chief executive officer; Gregory Dell'Omo, Robert Morris University president; and Jamie Kasper from the Pittsburgh Arts Collaborative.
