St. James School Heads to JV Boys Basketball Finals

Tonight's winner will take home the Diocesan JV Boys Basketball Championship title.

The St. James Catholic School junior varisty boys basketball team will play tonight against St. Joseph of Verona in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh junior varsity finals.

The game begins at 7 p.m at Our Lady of Grace in Mt. Lebanon. The fifth and sixth-graders at St. James defeated Christ the Divine Teacher in the semi-finals and are now in the midst of a run for the Diocesan Boys Basketball Championship. 

There are 20 teams that make the post season within the Diocese of Pittsburgh, and St. James has garnered three strong victories to make it to tonight's finals.
