Kayak, Rowboat and Canoe Rentals Available at North Park Boathouse

If you're hoping to get in some paddling time this summer, but don't have a vessel, that's no problem.

The Allegheny County Parks Department today announced that Kayak Pittsburgh is offering solo kayak, tandem kayak, rowboat and canoe rentals seven days a week at the .

Rental hours are 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the last rental at 7 p.m., and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday with the last rental at 7 p.m.

 Rental rates (not including sales tax) are as follows:

Solo Kayaks

• $15 per hour
• $10 per hour for Venture Outdoors members
• $8 additional half hour

Tandem Kayaks

• $20 per hour
• $15 per hour for Venture Outdoors members
• $10 additional half hour

Rowboats

• $20 per hour
• $15 per hour for Venture Outdoors members
• $10 additional half hour

Canoes

• $20 per hour
• $15 per hour for Venture Outdoors members   
• $10 additional half hour
