Last Chance: Become a 'Front Row' Theater Donor

Donors only have a week left to pledge as a Front Row member.

Donors still have a chance to become "Front Row" members by making a pledge before Saturday, June 30. Front Row donors can give at any level to be invited to the first movie ever shown in the Village Theater.

Village Theater, working with Forbes Trail Development Co,  to bring a two-screen family movie theater back to Sewickley. The  was later announced as the potential location. The theater will screen American independent and foreign films, as well as second-run and older films.

"The audience was excited about the idea of combining favorite local activities with meeting friends at the Village Theater for a movie, a live event broadcast, or a special community function," according to the group.

The group at this time is only accepting pledges. The money will not change hands until Village Theater Co. receives 501(c)3 approval and reaches enough pledges to make the theater concept a reality. 

Plans are to open in mid-2013, though the official start date is directly tied to the success of .
