5 Things to Know this Week: Juggling Club Car Wash, Grand Opening & More

1. Grand Opening of Rejuvenate

The grand opening of Rejuvenate, the Sewickley Village's newest massage, yoga and fitness center is having a grand opening from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 549 Beaver St.

2. Juggling Club Car Wash

The Quaker Valley Middle School Juggling Club will host its annual fall car wash from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10 in the middle school parking lot, 618 Harbaugh St., Sewickley.

The car wash is free, but donations are appreciated. Proceeds will be used to purchase new equipment for the Jugglebugs to use at meetings.

3. Quaker Valley Homecoming

On Friday, Oct. 11, Quaker Valley will host Seton LaSalle for its homecoming game. The game begins at 7 p.m. A homecoming dance is planned for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12.


4. Author Event

Penguin Bookshop will host two upcoming Author Events. Karen Dietrich, author of "The Girl Factory," will appear at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9 and Thomas White, author of  "Witches of Pennsylvania" will appear at 7 p.m. on Friday. Oct. 11.

5. Cops in Couture Fashion Show

Cops in Couture begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 at the Mall at Robinson. The fashion show will highlight more than 70 police officers and K9 units from police departments throughout Allegheny County, including Robinson Police Chief Dale Vietmeier.

The fashion show starts at 7 p.m. and benefits the Law Enforcement Officers Memorial of Allegheny County.
