2011 Election: Sewickley

Voters in three Sewickley wards will choose candidates to represent them on borough council for four-year terms.

In Ward 1, which lies between Blackburn Road to the north and Beaver Street to the west, one Republican candidate is on the ballot for one council seat. The candidate is:

 

    In Ward 2, which lies between Edgeworth Borough on the north and Blackburn Road and Walnut Street on the south, two Republican candidates are on the ballot for two four-year council seats.

    Ford successfully ran in the primary as a write-in candidate and also appears on the ballot as a Democrat.

    One Republican candidate is also on the ballot for one two-year council seat.

    Glenn was appointed to fill the unexpired term of Sewickley Councilman Dean S.C. Williams, who died in March. Voters must now elect a candidate to serve out the two-year term.

     

    In Ward 3, which lies between Walnut Street on the north and Beaver Street on the east, one Republican candidate is seeking re-election to a four-year term on council.

     

    Republican Maleet Gordon, of Centennial Avenue, also is running unopposed for a two-year term as tax collector.
