What is the primary reason you are running for this office? I want to get the job done! I did it before as a two-term Sewickley Borough councilman. And I'll do it again.

I'll be a tax watchdog and see to it that municipal services get to the residential streets and neighborhoods. Additionally, we must find a solution to the more than 20 vacant storefronts in downtown Sewickley. It will be the key to more jobs and economic development.

What will be your single most important priority if you are elected? Everything spins on the axis of wise tax spending. It is the key for getting municipal services to residential streets and neighborhoods and economic development.

What sets you apart from the other candidates? First, I have previously served as a Sewickley Borough Councilman. As such, I am familiar with the fiscal and operational affairs of managing Sewickley and familiar with the community at large.

Second, I have had significant not-for-profit financial, operational and marketing management experience. I was part of a management turnaround team that restored the financial and operational health to two high-profile not-for-profit organizations.

What's your favorite thing about the community? Sewickley is a very unique community. It has a alluring mix of people and culture. It's a true jewel of Allegheny County.

What is the biggest problem facing the community? Wise tax spending is job one. It is the key for getting municipal services to residential streets and neighborhoods and economic development.
