I still don't know what she did wrong. The President of the United States starts running…Read More for re-election the day after he takes Office. I bet Judge Nauhaus has done the same things as Judge Orie Melvin. The Orie Woman must have burned some bridges along the way and it became Personal.

Judge Orie Melvin and her family violated the public trust by using publicly-paid employees to do…Read More campaign work while on the job. This is not only a violation of the law, it violates the public trust..The bridges the Ories burnt were burnt through their arrogance...they thought they were above the law. The shame of it is, the election would have probably turned out the same way, if they hadn't crossed the line. The sentencing judge pointed to this arrogance as he passed down sentence. The Judge knew the law and should have stayed above the law, but the thirst for power sometimes causes bad judgments to be made. This was not a one-time mistake--but a pattern of using public workers in private campaigns has gone one in the Orie campaigns for years......that cannot be forgiven and forgotten.

They're thieves. They stole taxpayer money and time to try to bolster their position in an…Read More election. I think the judge was right--why should taxpayers pay for feeding and housing these criminals in jail. House arrest is a good approach, but they should both have gotten twice what they were given IMHO. The arrogance needs to be knocked out of them. Some of their saying they were sorry couldn't really be considered an apology as it was more in the nature of an "I'm sorry I got caught at my criminality."
