Shop ‘n Save Sells Lottery Ticket Worth $1 Million

The winner has not yet claimed the ticket.

Recently, there was a winner in Wexford. Now, there could be a new millionaire living in the Cranberry area. The Pennsylvania lottery confirmed one Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold at the Cranberry Shop ‘n Save on Freedom Road Friday. As of Tuesday morning, store manager John Barley said no one has stepped forward yet to claim the winning ticket. “We’re all anxious to see who it is,” said Barley, who added he hopes it is one of the grocer’s regular customers. The numbers on the ticket, 05-06-13-36-50, correctly matched all five white balls, but not the red Powerball 13, for a $1 million second-tier prize. The store, which is owned by the Sorbara family, also will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.  Lottery …

Winning Million-Dollar Lottery Ticket Sold at Market District in Wexford

Retailers in Fayette, Luzerne and Wayne counties also sold $1 million top-prize winning tickets.

Are you holding a winning ticket? The Market District in Pine Township sold one of four $1 million top-prize winning tickets from Saturday's Millionaire Raffle drawing, according to Pennsylvania Lottery news release. Pennsylvania Lottery retailers in Fayette, Luzerne and Wayne counties also sold $1 million top-prize winning tickets. The tickets were sold at the following locations:  Each store will receive a $5,000 selling bonus from the Pennsylvania Lottery.  "Lottery officials cannot confirm the identities of the winners until the prizes are claimed and the tickets are validated," the news release said.
