You voted for your favorite place to catch a fish fry.
This week Sewickely Patch asked residents to vote for the best fish fry in the area. Drum roll, please! The results are in. Through poll results and Patch comments we have determined that the Leetsdale Fire Department's fish fry at the VFW is the best. The fire department won the poll results by 40 percent with 37 votes. St. James Church came in second with 24 votes, and Good Samaritan Church in Ambridge came in third with 12. Moon Township Fire Department and Mike's Place received honorable mentions with 10 voted and 7 votes, respectively. St. Joseph's received 2 votes and Rook's East Side Saloon in Ambridge had one nomination. The Leetsdale Fire Department has been serving its fish for years.
