The conservative radio host and author will be at the Costco to sign copies of “Agenda 21.”

Conservative talk show host and author Glenn Beck will be at the Costco in Cranberry today to sign copies of his new book, Agenda 21. Set in the future, Agenda 21 is the tale of a United Nations program that leads to an authoritarian state. The nation is no longer known as America, but as “the Republic.” There is “No president. No Congress. No Supreme Court. No freedom,” according to a description on Beck’s website. “There are only the Authorities.” Although fictional, the novel is based on an actual program—also called Agenda 21—created by the UN that deals with sustainable development and human impacts on the environment. Five Things to Do This Weekend

A weekend of chock full of events are happening in the Sewickley Valley.

Here we are. Another January weekend and the weather forecasters are calling for more snow and more cold temperatures. Well, don’t let the winter blahs keep you holed up in the house. We found several events happening around town to help get you out and about. Today 1)     Learn math and science – Children ages 2 to 5 who are accompanied by an adult can learn about math and science from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. at the Sewickley Public Library. The event includes stories and fun activities using a variety of building materials. Registration is advised.
