Commenters express outrage on the business’s Facebook page after some of the company-owned restaurants post signs prohibiting guns on the premises.
Buffalo Wild Wings is attracting controversy after some of the chain’s company-owned restaurants began posting signs banning guns on the property. Photos taken at restaurants around the nation are popping up on social media sites of signs that say guns are not allowed inside the buildings. The move has sparked outrage on the company’s official Facebook page. "It's your right to disarm your customers as is our right to go eat elsewhere from now on to prevent becoming a victim,” said one poster. “I changed banks for the same reason.” In a statement to KDKA, Buffalo Wild Wings' corporate headquarters said that while the company “respects the right of individuals to carry firearms. The bear already has been spotted at Buffalo Wild Wings and Burger King. Should it stop in for a bite in Sewickley as well?
When it comes to choosing between burgers and wings, the bear spotted in Cranberry prefers both. The 200-pound black bear made local news headlines after climbing a tree outside Buffalo Wild Wings along Route 19 in Cranberry Thursday evening and staying there for close to two hours. Perhaps attracted by the scent of frying food, the bear later ambled across the highway (taking care to look both ways first) to Burger King before disappearing into the woods near Interstate 79. Maybe he wanted fries with that? Now, there are plenty of restaurants located along Route 228 near Interstate 79. Just for fun, which restaurant do you think the hungry bear should visit next? The 200-pound black bear is last spotted heading towards the woods.
Why did a 200-pound black bear cross busy Route 19 in Cranberry? To get to the Burger King, of course. After spending close to two hours in a tree outside the Buffalo Wild Wings Thursday evening, Cranberry Police said the bear ambled across Route 19 and went behind the fast-food restaurant. The bear was last spotted heading towards the woods near Interstate 79, Public Safety Director Jeff Schueler said. Police were called to the Buffalo Wild Wings at about 9:30 p.m. after someone spotted the bear in the parking lot, he said. When officers arrived at the restaurant, the bear already was in the tree. Officers monitored the bear until it climbed down from the branches at about 11:20 p.m. In the meantime, residents were asked to steer clear of…

This week, Patch tries the menu at the Robinson Township branch of this national chain of restaurants.
Buffalo Wild Wings serves up food with a side of fun. The Robinson sports bar is a great place to go to cheer on the black and gold, yet it’s also family friendly. There are TVs everywhere, so no matter where you’re seated you’ll be able to catch the game or play some trivia. The place has a full bar and offers numerous domestic, imports, craft and specialty beers. An outdoor patio completes the energetic yet easy-going atmosphere, making it a great place to simply hang out and unwind. The name says it all — the restaurant is known for its chicken wings. More than a dozen sauces are offered, ranging from the mild sweet barbecue to the blazin’ hot sauce. The wings come in orders of six, 12, 18, 24 and 50 and are priced from $4.99 to $33.99…

I'd be much happier at a restaurant without guns and would prefer to spend my money in a place that had similar views. They may lose some gun lovers, but apparently they don't want them anyway.   more ›
