Bell Acres Family to Host Fundraiser for Raja
Michelle and Alan Veeck will host a fundraiser Thursday evening for D. Raja, a Republican running for County Executive of Allegheny County.
Election day is now less than two months away and D. Raja is making the rounds to meet as many people in Allegheny County as he can. His next stop will be at the home of Michelle and Alan Veeck in Bell Acres from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday. The Veecks are involved in local politics and also have supported Sewickley resident Keith Rothfus, who ran for Congress in 2010. Raja, a former Mt. Lebanon commissioner, is the Republican candidate for county executive. His opponent is Democrat Rich Fitzgerald, former president of Allegheny County Council.
