Quaker Valley Boys Soccer Wins WPIAL Championship
The boys team defeats Mars, 2-1, in the WPIAL Class AA match Saturday.
The Quaker Valley boys' soccer team defeated Mars in overtime Saturday to clinch the WPIAL Class AA crown. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the boys scored with 4.2 seconds left in the second overtime to defeat Mars, 2-1 at Chartiers Valley High School. With time ticking down, the No. 4 seed Quakers made one last rush down the field and moved the ball into the box, the Post-Gazette reported.
