Seneca Valley Hires Sewickley Resident as New Acting Assistant Principal
A first-grade teacher, Christin Jamery has been with the district since 2007.
Another familiar face is taking over an administrative position within the Seneca Valley School District. On Jan. 14, the school board approved hiring teacher Christin Jamery, a Sewickley resident, as acting assistant principal for the Rowan and Connoquenessing Valley elementary schools. She replaces Nannette Farmar, who was promoted to acting principal of Rowan after Dr. John Giancola left the position in December to take a job as an English as a Second Language supervisor with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit. Monday marked Jamery’s first day in her new role.
