Sewickley Police Catch Suspect in Business Break-ins

Adrian Foody of Canonsburg is charged with offenses that include burglary and criminal attempt.

A holiday burglar didn’t get far before Sewickley police caught up to him inside a local business early Thanksgiving morning. Adrian Foody, 20, of Lakeside Drive, Canonsburg, and fomerly of Sewickley, is now facing charges that include underage drinking, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, burglary, and criminal attempt. Police said Foody had been drinking alcohol before he attempted to break into Sewickley Traditions and the Orioles Cleaners around 4:30 a.m Thursday. Police said Foody kicked the glass windows on the front doors, but didn’t get inside the businesses. Instead, police said Foody went over to the Citgo gas station at Chestnut and Beaver streets. The boy wants to act like an adult..drinking and committing crimes then he should have beem treated like an adult anx booked into jail and made to face consequences right away instead kf foing home to a warm bed with mommy and daddy. Im tired of kids doing adult crime and seemingly getting a slap on the wrist. Just my opinion.   more ›
