For a limited time, Giant Eagle customers who spend $50 will receive double fuel perks at GetGo fuel and convenience store locations. Starting Thursday, May 16, customers can earn a 20-cents off per gallon for every $50 spent using a Giant Eagle Advantage Card inside any of its stores in the Pittsburgh market, including Leetsdale. The incentive runs through Wednesday, May 29. Giant Eagle estimates the incentive will result in about 2 million gallons of free fuel. The promotion comes just in time for the Memorial Day holiday weekend, when millions are expected to travel the nation’s highways. Allegheny County Veterans Services has compiled a list of special offers and discounts available to veterans in honor of Veterans Day. Outback Steakhouse is honoring military veterans and those on active duty by offering a free Bloomin’ Onion and a Coca-Cola product Tuesday, Nov. 8, through Friday, Nov. 11.
