Catholic Schools Week 2013 Begins at St. James

St. James School plans events all week long in celebration of Catholic Schools Week.

Every January, Catholic schools around the country take a week to celebrate the accomplishments of their students, faculty and community during Catholic Schools Week. St. James School is no different. The school announced their plans for Catholic Schools Week, which promotes the faith-based education private Catholic schools provide to students, one that rigorous and supportive. St. James School students will step back in time during their celebration of Catholic Schools Week 2013 beginning today, Jan. 28 and concluding with a Mass on Sunday, Feb. 3. Bain Workers Bus Tour Stops in McCandless

Five former employees of Bain Capital-owned companies and their supporters stop in front of Keith Rothfus campaign headquarters to criticize the Romney economic plan.

The Bain Workers bus tour made a stop Wednesday morning in McCandless, parking in a lot directly across from the headquarters of Republican congressional candidate Keith Rothfus. On board were five former employees of Bain Capital-owned companies, along with several dozen of their supporters. The group has been traveling the country, hoping to influence swing voters to support President Barack Obama .  Bain Capital was founded by Mitt Romney and several partners in 1984. Since its inception, it has invested in or acquired hundreds of companies.
