The health system hired a Conshohocken-based national firm to take over its security services.
A national firm has taken over security services for Heritage Valley Health System, including its Sewickley hospital. Dan Murphy, Heritage Valley spokesman, told the Beaver County Times that as of May 8, Allied Barton will take over security services for the Sewickley and Beaver campuses and Staunton Clinic in Rochester. A group of neighbors seeks borough council's help in clearing the air.
When Mary Malyszka went to pick up her son from the bus stop on his first day of kindergarten, the day should have been filled with joy and excitement, she said. “Instead, it was filled with carcinogens and rude behavior,” Malyszka, of Broad Street, told Sewickley Council Monday night. Does seeing patients dying from lung and other cancers not deter their choice to puff away money and health? I support keeping smokers in their own homes and not in my air space anywhere since i choose health, the Y, and exerting my rights to smoke free air..   more ›
