Two Washington County men charged in the robbery of a BP in Wexford were arraigned by live streaming over the Internet Thursday morning and bail was set at $50,000 each. Matthew McDonald, 19, and Charles Edward Clark, 21, appeared separately via webcam from the Washington County Jail before Magisterial District Judge William K. Wagner, whose courtroom is in McCandless. Wagner asked both men if they had received a written criminal complaint stating the charges against them, to which they answered yes. A 15-year-old girl testified on Wednesday that she had sex with a 19-year-old Gibsonia man she met on Facebook after he picked her up from school and took her to his parents' Treesdale home. Paul Robert Wolverton pleaded not guilty at his preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge William K. Wagner. He is charged with felony counts of statutory sexual assault, corruption of a minor, criminal use of a communication facility and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse. Wagner ordered him to stand trial in Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. His formal arraignment is set for June 25. Wagner also ordered Wolverton not to have contact with the 15-year-old. A trio charged with burglarizing a Marshall Township home is facing multiple charges in other cases across the North Hills. In the Marshall case, Brittanny Jenkins, 29, of West View, and Christina Naill, 21, of Avella, were ordered this week to stand trial by Magisterial District Judge William K. Wagner. Neither women showed up for her preliminary hearing. Erik Sigal, 24, of Bellevue, is charged as their co-conspirator. He faces felony burglary charges, but his preliminary hearing was postponed until Jan. 18. The charges stem from a Dec. 13 burglary in the 100 block of Wheatland Road in Marshall Township, in which two Samsung TVs and jewelry were stolen, according to Northern Regional Police Department.
