Sheena Monnin, the beauty queen from Cranberry, also posts a new video explaining some of her actions—including why she called the Miss Universe organization “trashy.”
Sheena Monnin, the ex-Miss Pennsylvania USA from Cranberry, is continuing to fight back against the $5 million lawsuit Donald Trump filed against her last year after she claimed the Miss USA pageant was rigged. This time, she’s saying the arbitration judgment made against her in December has yet to be confirmed. “There was an arbitration judgment decision made on December 10th, 2012. The judgment was sent to the Southern District Court of New York to be affirmed,” she said in a statement to Patch. “The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) announced they had ‘won’ a $5 million judgment against me on December 18th. It is apparent that the MUO knew that the arbitration judgment had NOT been confirmed when they released the news to the public.” …

Former Miss Pennsylvania USA Sheena Monnin says a clause in the Miss Universe contract could prove her claim the contest is rigged.
Despite a $5 million legal victory against her, it appears Sheena Monnin won’t let her war of words with media mogul Donald Trump go down without a fight. The Ex-Miss Pennsylvania USA from Cranberry once again took to her Facebook page to express her dissatisfaction with the Miss Universe organization—and this time she said a clause in the organization’s own contract gives credibility to her claim the contest was rigged. “Since I had no idea that an arbitration hearing had taken place until receiving notification of the judgment made against me, I would like to release an initial response,” she said on her Facebook page Thursday. Monnin resigned as Miss Pennsylvania in June, just days after the televised Miss USA 2012 pageant took place. …

Plus, who will fill Monnin’s high heels? And what did Donald Trump recently demand of the Cranberry resident? The answers may surprise you.
Although he has worked closely with Sheena Monnin since she won the Miss Pennsylvania USA title in December, Randy Sanders, director of the state’s Miss USA pageant, says he can’t support her recent allegations against the organization that crowned her. “I found her to always be a very thoughtful person,” he said Wednesday. “I was a bit surprised that she announced so early after the conclusion of the pageant her resignation. I wish her well, but I cannot agree with her reasoning.” Monnin, of Cranberry Township, made headlines this week when she accused the Miss USA pageant, which aired Sunday, of being rigged. The move earned her the ire of outspoken mogul—and Miss Universe co-owner—Donald Trump, who threatened to sue Monnin Wednesday …

I personally have met Sheena and I will say I'm not at all surprised by her snooty attitude. I met her and Julia and I said then what I will still say today that Sheena seems like a spoiled brat. Julia was so sweet and just a delight to be around. Sheena was very stuck up and it sounds to me since Sheena didn't win she is just going to quit. Winners don't quit under any circumstances and many …   more ›
