Quaker Valley Seniors Lead Quakers into the WPIAL Final Four
Senior Nelson Westwood nets career high 20 in QV upset win.
Senior Nelson Westwood saved a great performance for last on Saturday and Quaker Valley boys basketball is headed to the WPIAL Final Four. Westwood, who all season filled the role of QV’s top defender and assist leader, played the role of go-to scorer. He poured in a career-high 20 points in addition to an overall great floor game to lead QV in the 62-61 upset victory. “We knew we were going to get our chances, and luckily we took advantage when the opportunities arose,” Westwood said.
