Get a “Letter From Santa” Through US Postal Service Program

Your good little boys and girls will receive a letter postmarked from the North Pole.

Dutiful little boys and girls writing a wish list to Santa this holiday season can get a unique response from the big guy himself, postmarked from the North Pole. All it takes is a little help from the post office—and you. The US Postal Service is once again keeping the magic of Santa Claus alive through its “Letter from Santa” program. Now in its 100th year, here's how the program works: NORTH POLE POSTMARK POSTMASTER 4141 POSTMARK DR ANCHORAGE AK 99530-9998 Letters from Santa must be mailed to the Anchorage, AK, postmaster no later than Dec. 10, 2012. Where's Santa? Track His Sleigh with NORAD and Sewickley Patch

For 364 days out of the year, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) spends its time tracking airplanes, missiles, space ships—anything flying near the United States and Canada. But on Christmas Eve, a team of volunteers spends the night tracking a very special pilot: Santa Claus. "We are the only organization that has the technology, the qualifications and the people to do it," NORAD said on its website. "NORAD tracks Santa, but only Santa knows his route, which means we cannot predict where and when he will arrive at your house."
