Get Ready for a Rockin' Barktoberfest

Larry’s Laundromutt joins with the Western PA Humane Society for a festival of beer, food, dog washes, live music and prizes.

Yes, the natives are getting restless as the AFC Champions head to Super Bowl XLV on Feb. 6. In the meantime, plenty of local businesses are exuding Pittsburgh Steelers pride. And for consumers that means there are plenty of ways to show your love for the black and gold without leaving Sewickley's business corridor. Stop by the Ultimate Pastry Shop, 445 Beaver St., for a perfectly rendered and perfectly yummy helmet cookie. While you are there check out the other game-day treats. For $1.50 a day, one can show love for the Steelers while getting a quick sugar high. How's that for a bonus? Whether you're planning on going …
