Sewickley Police Investigate SUV Vandalism
Police said someone smashed a mirror and put "major" dents in a 2012 sport utility vehicle.
Someone vandalized a 2012 sport utility vehicle Sunday between 12:30 p.m. and 1:55 p.m. while it was parked in a lot in the 400 block of Chadwick Street. Police said the owner, a Cranberry Township resident, left the lot and was driving the Ford Escape down Route 65 when he realized the passenger side mirror was damaged. When the driver returned to the parking lot to check the damage, he soon discovered the whole passenger side of the vehicle had been vandalized. Police said the side mirror was smashed, the car had "major" dents on the passenger doors and rear quarter panel and damage to one of the wheels. “Loser” was scrawled in marker on the door and a vulgarity was left on the rear panel and wheel well area.
