Two local homes top the list of 50 home sales in the region.
Two Sewickley Heights homes topped the Pittsburgh Business Times' list of the 50 most expensive home sales in the region. Based on 2012 county real estate transactions, a Sewickley Heights home on Scaife Road ranked first in the region at $2.850 million. Jeffrey J. and Heather Bresch made the No. 1 purchase, which came just ahead of a $2,721,500 purchase on Persimmon Road in Sewickley Heights. That transaction by William Jr. and Mary Pride Winkenwerder ranked at No. 2. Real estate purchases in Edgeworth, Franklin Park and Ohio Township also ranked in the top 50, according to the Business Times.
