A round-up of holiday events happening tonight and Saturday as part of the annual Yuletide in Sewickley celebration.
Get into the holiday spirit tonight with Sewickley's Light Up Night festivities. The evening begins with music by Dancing Queen from 5 to 6:30 p.m.; the Lighting of the Village with Mayor Brian Jeffe, John Tucci, followed by fireworks is from 6:30 to 7 p.m.; and No Bad JuJu follows with music from 7 to 9 p.m. Area churches and non-profit organizations have also planned activities between 5 and 9 p.m. tonight in conjunction with Light Up Night. Sewickley United Methodist Church The sanctuary will be open to the community from 5 to 9 p.m. with cookies and caroling, with various local Girl Scout troops leading the songs.
