Michael Falcone, a sophomore at Quaker Valley High School, likes to spend his free time in the cabinet shop at Old Economy Village in Ambridge, trying to re-envision the ways of the Harmonist carpenters, joiners, cabinet makers, and other woodworkers by researching their tools. Michael will put on "A Plane Old Exhibit" highlighting these woodworkers through an array of their planes. Parents and other caregivers are invited to attend "Teen Talk," a panel discussion presented by Youth Connect in partnership with Sewickley Academy and QV Voice. The discussion will be led by a group of Sewickley Academy Upper School students, as well as members of the QV Voice Peer Advocates, a group of Quaker Valley High School students dedicated to encouraging their peers to express opinions and providing resources and strategies through engagement in lunch discussion groups and school-wide presentations and activities.
