Accused Burglar Says 'Sorry, Man' After Entering Woman's Apartment
Joseph D. Stoberski, 20, is now facing burglary charges and a preliminary hearing next week.
A Monroeville man charged with burglary said he was "looking for a friend" when he stumbled into a woman's apartment at 3:30 a.m. one morning and was subsequently tackled, according to Moon Township police. Joseph Douglas Stoberski, 20, now faces a preliminary hearing scheduled for Jan. 8 in Coraopolis District Court. Moon police said Stoberski walked into a woman's Kris Drive apartment in the early morning of Dec. 22, startling the apartment's residents and prompting the woman's boyfriend to tackle Stoberski in the apartment. In addition to burglary, Stoberski is also charged with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and underage drinking in connection to the incident.
